Guest Storyteller - Raymond Johnson

Raymond Johnson will join us as our Guest Storyteller. On Dec. 21, 1995, 3 year old Casson was killed by a stray bullet from a drive by shooting. Raymond was 15 years old at the time and was arrested as the shooter. He was sentenced to life +50 years. Raymond was a child who grew up in prison…but his story was UNFINISHED. In 2012 Raymond & Sharletta (Casson’s mom) sat together as part of the “Restorative Justice” program. Sharletta forgave him…and took it one step further and took Raymond in as her own son.
