The Grudge - Week 2
Sep 19, 2020 • Ryan Canaday
When we’re talking about the grudge and letting go of the painful things we’re holding onto—we’re talking about forgiveness. But let’s start with what forgiveness ISN’T.
Forgiveness is not condoning what they did.
Forgiveness is not waiting for them to admit what they did—because that day may never come.
Forgiveness is not eliminating the consequences or preventing justice.
Forgiveness is not forgetting what happened.
Forgiveness is not necessarily reconciliation.
Forgiveness is about you giving up the right to get them back.
Have you ever been stepped on, or wronged, or betrayed by someone or a group of people or by someone you love...and you became obsessed with getting them back?
